Committed to a mission of cultural enrichment and raising arts awareness in the Mid-South.

The Diamond Brass Band, founded in the fall of 2014, is a British-Style brass band based out of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The ensemble is led by Dr. Sarah Labovitz, Associate Director of Bands at Arkansas State University. The artistic director is Dr. Charles Page. The ensemble members are comprised of A-State music faculty and students, public school teachers, and area freelance musicians.

The band derives its name from the fact that Arkansas is home to the only active diamond mine in the country. The mine is maintained by the Crater of Diamonds State Park near Murfreesboro, Pike County, Arkansas.
